With the addition of +1 effecting search it is going to be a larger topic than before, but most companies that sell +1 aren't going to provide relevant followers so in the end it is a waste of money. There are 2 searches right now: personal and regular (old). When it is on personal the +1 results will change search rankings and increase sites you have +1'd or your circle may have in the past, but since the +1's you bought are people that likely aren't ever going to be clients it won't change much for you in the end.

If you want more +1's ask the circles you are already in or join a marketing forum that trades them. At least that way you know they are real people and not just "unique accounts". Knowing Google they are already well on top of people trying to spam +1's to their pages to game the system. I would advise against buying it at this time.
