Asking out someone without feelings?
Ok so i have a really really important childhood friend. We are now separated but we still talk on Skype and Facebook. Then one day my childhood friend "A"'s friend "B" added me. We talked and then "B" was like do you know who "A" likes? I was like yes (because he told me it was someone else) and then "B" said YOU. And i freaked out and "B" told me how he has been "Depressed for months because i friend zoned him. So i told "A" i liked him and he told me he would call me tomorrow- Because i didn't want to hurt him, or him being upset, and lose our friendship and also because i wanted to find out the truth because this problem was just plain confusing. I then realised i didn't really like him because i had no feelings what so ever and there was this guy that i do have feelings for (but i thought i was over him :/) and that what i did made it even worse. And then he replied and he said he did too. Now i don't want to lie about my feelings and force myself to like him because that would hurt both of us. So i taught about saying something along the lines of "actually i don't think i can because its long distance and yea..." but i can't bring myself to say it.
