it's a way of dealing with a break up ... people handle them differently

standard procedure for a women is;

hair & nails done

retail therapy ( new clothes )

then out for girls night out , with possibly a hook up


a man has to play the numbers game , as women can pick and choose ...men generally take anything thats going
