What to do for my Mural Business?

Network. Businesses that provide services (instead of product) usually attract new clients by word of mouth. Here are some ideas you can try:

1. Join your local Chamber of Commerce or BNI
2. Donate a free mural to a school or daycare- Parents who like the piece may want one for their kid's room.
3. Create a discount card (i.e. 20% off 1 mural for new clients)
4. Offer existing clients a referral fee for referring friends and family (but only if the lead turns into a sale)
5. Join groups in your area (check out http://www.meetup.com)
6. Create a website and portfolio (potential clients will want to see your work before they contact you for your services)
7. Create flyers- Contact local restaurants and businesses and ask them if you can hang flyers for your business in their windows. The restaurants where I live have art from local artists hanging on the walls. The art is for sale and customers can buy any piece they like. The artist gives the restaurant a commission for each piece sold.
8. Create postcards (which shows an amazing mural you've done) and ask local businesses to hand them out.

I am actually in the process of writing a full post regarding "How to Market Your Company for Free" on my company's blog. The post should be finished by tomorrow afternoon. If you are interested, you can check out our blog at http://kerrbookkeeping.blogspot.com/.

Good luck!!

Hope that helps. Good luck!!
