that background color is now configurable in your browser.

I made it gray/blue in IE 10, Win7.

internet options, general, colors, uncheck use windows colors & use the color blocks to choose your colors.

Yahoo should have the color eye-friendly by default.

If the default,s glaring white, it drives away users.
