In his mind's eye, he's living in that sliver of time - the first two years of his reign - when he was King of all he surveyed, when his whim was made reality for America. Such was the godlike image he portrayed that even his cabinet gave Obamacare a standing ovation without even reading the bill. He still sees the bill as his private preserve, and if elements of it should happen to be electorally unpalatable, by all means delay implementation until after the mid-terms.
I see a man who was formed by the circumstances of his origins and upbringing being attracted to socialist dogma. No problem with that. What I now see is a disturbed man concerned only with his own personal reputation and doing whatever is possible, by whatever means, to salvage that reputation..
