Verizon Prepaid $50 unlimited plan for smartphone?!?!?!?! Advice!?

Okay, so I'm about to get divorced and I'm sure it's going to get nasty within the next couple of months and I'm planning on running out and getting the Verizon monthly prepaid account with unlimited talk and text and 1GB of data for $50 bucks (unless it's changed) WELL I'm not at all sure how much data I use since I've been on his family plan for YEARS and he takes care of that bill I literally have no idea even how much data 1GB will give me? SO much question is, I will basically be starting brand new and would like to know if that plan is worth it? I have Twitter, Instagram (will be deleting facebook because eff him I need to refrain from seeing him) and I Like Youtube, yes I have netflix but not really a person that goes out to watch movies/shows, I like to watch the long stuff cozy at home...Oh yes, I also enjoy Pandora, and I like listening to a couple of Podcasts oh about 2-3 times a week....any advice?I'll be on my own with no job so 50-60 budget is all I can really afford at the moment...thanks
