My kids didn't post my pic on FB for mothers day but they did on Fathers day for their Dad?

Don't take it too personally. I understand how you feel but it probably isn't meant to be an affront to you.
I posted a pic of my dad today on FB and didn't post one on mothers day for my mom. It was nothing personal, she knows I love her, I just didn't think about it. I took her out to eat and spent some time with her on Mothers day. I posted a pic today because I'd seen others doing it and thought it was cut and followed suit. It seems to be a thing today for some reason.
Socail media is all about trends and this seems to be a trend this fathers day that wasn't around on mothers day. I'm sure their reasoning is similar.
You're life style may make them uncomfortable but that is something they are going to have to just learn to deal with. You can't help who you are. However, I seriously doubt that has anything to do with the facebook posts. It's probably more of a following the crowd and a "monkey see monkey do" type thing as was the case with me.
Try not to take it personally. I am sure you are a great mother.
