It depends on your perspective and on which branch of feminism you are talking about. The prominent feminist Gloria Steinem wrote in 1970, "...women certainly should be drafted..." not because she felt the draft was good for women (she felt it was bad for everybody) but because she felt, as she had publicly said, women should not be treated differently from men if they are going to be regarded as equal.

Our dogs have protections, women (and men) need opportunity.
