I don't understand if this was legitimate, then why has he went to the distance of keeping his Twitter inactive? Surely he would've posted a picture or tweet about a hockey/baseball game, etc.I still call work. & how's this; Phil Brooks owns the rights to the name "CM Punk".He can continue to use that name anywhere he wants to, but since he owns the rights to it, WWE would need his permission to even mention his name on television, or continue to sell his merchandise. Now, here's the fun part.Punk's technically still contracted/employed by WWE, which means they can continue to sell his merchandise, but Punk still gets his cut. If they release Punk, they'd have to dispose of alot of his unsold merchandise, creating some form of loss, since he has in-demand merchandise. This is the reason they won't release Punk, because they don't wanna lose that profit that they can make off his remaining merchandise, even if he's breached his contract(since he owns the rights to the name "CM Punk").So if they release him, take it to court, Punk still owns the rights, so they'd still dispose of unsold merch.I believe Vince is trying to give Punk a chance to h Ads |
