How long does it take to get over an ex?

Depends on the person and if you really care about them, honestly.

I was in an on and off relationship for a year and a half on and off through high school and college and its been three years and my ex still hasn't gotten over me, he checks up on me, he's friends with my mom on Facebook, etc.

I got dumped recently after only dating someone for a little under a month for no reason and was ridiculously sad. I didn't even want to go out of the house for almost a week.

My relationship before that lasted about a year on and off through college and it was a mutual break so there wasn't any hard feelings.

Like I said, it varies. But you'll get over it eventually.
