this guy i don't know well added me on fb?

stupid question i know...well i ran into an acquaintance on campus. he asked me if i was going to a party (hosted by our mutual friend) & i said yes. he said "then i'll go too"...and a few hours later he added me as a friend on fb (he has a lot of friends though). my friend told me that he "stalks" girls he's interested in on fb, but never has the guts to ask any of them out. she also said he mentioned running into me, and told her about our convo. so could this adding mean anything?
