Be sure to examine your traffic, ideally with Google analytics where you can see just where and how soon they abandon the site. This goes double if you are paying someone to secure the traffic, which could be robots or uninterested 3rd world people who don't even speak the language, high bounce rate stats can indicate faked traffic.
I have heard that 1 in 50 to 200 is common for eCommerce sites, you may be facing branding issues as well with a new, relatively unknown product. I would suggest you not pack the home page with so much data, make that first page consumer friendly, introducing the basics to a grammar school educated audience, with a single intro video, moving the techie stuff to inner pages accessed from the main page menu. It makes no sense to to have owner Unboxing & Quick Start Guide videos on a sales page, you need a real sales/demo video. Some marketing studies suggest it can take 7 exposures to a brand or product name before people are comfortable enough to buy it, this is a part of theBranding process, you could be marking those 800 a day visitors for re-marketing (retargeting) ads that they would see all over the internet harkening them back to your site. Retargeter.com, perfectaudience.com, adroll.com are examples of those services that can help you make those 7 exposures to prospects, since they use "remnant" ad space, re-targeting ads are relatively cheap.
