Good suggestions for using Amazon.. or other websites with a good reputation AND a good return/refund policy. * Even on Amazon, check the policy if you buy from a 3rd party- amazon won't always guarantee the purchase.
Find a farm / farmers market and ask them about fresh honey and bee pollen producers. Most farmers in No. America hire a bee keeper to pollinate the fields for them, actually renting a few bee hives for a few weeks each season. Try a local coop : http://www.localharvest.org/store/bee-prods.jsp Just be careful - even the real thing can be dangerous if you are allergic. Plus, I respect and enjoy Gary Null's work.. even today he's still got a (nearly) daily radio show.. but he and bee pollen were the subject of an FTC matter a few years back. http://www.ftc.gov/os/decisions/docs/vol...06-319.pdf .. Like I said, I respect Mr. Null, so I assume he was taken in by shady business partners. While I think his advice is usually based in truth and good intentions, I also think that western medicine has a place that can be excluded. |
