How can I change my avatar on YA? I've tried everything.?

This question is asked all the time, so you're not alone.

First, you must be on a computer; this cannot be done on a mobile device. If you’re on a mobile device, you can link your Yahoo Account to your Facebook (assuming you have one) and then your profile pictures can carry over. Otherwise, you will have to wait until you’re on a computer.

Find a picture that you would like to be your profile picture, and make sure it is saved to your computer. Then, go to http://profile.yahoo.com. (your Yahoo! Profile)
1.Click on your current avatar in the middle of the screen (Change Picture will appear)
2.Choose the Upload option
3.Find the picture you want on your computer
4.When it is uploaded, click Save.

If you aren't getting an Upload option, it's a glitch. Try clearing your cookies, cache, and history, restart your computer, and try again, or on a different browser.
Also, if your profile is hidden, your profile picture won't show. You can unhide it as explained in the Help page above.

EDIT: a photo is choosing an avatar from the Internet. Hopefully we are on the same page here, but it looks like you have a picture now, so I'm glad the problem is resolved.
