Because she was being mature and she had every right to do so, why should she answer your hate mail she didn't do anything wrong, he chose not to be with you anymore and he chose her as his new girlfriend, why would she choose to retaliate against someone who she doesn't even know? actually this girl sounds pretty mature good for her for not responding.
