why is blackops2 freezing?

Its corrupted game data. Go to game data utility under games, find bo2 and delete it. Then restart the ps3 in safe mode, and select &quot;restore file system&quot;. This will repair any corrupted data on the hard drive. Lastly, redownload&#x2F;install the game and its patches, you should be good to go.

Note, an interruption of your internet connection during the download will recorrupt the game data. I strongly recommend using a wired connection for downloads
