I honestly dont know a lot about wireless routers so I need a little help choosing one... I am trying to decide between 2 routers. Both are Dual band with gigabit ports.
The first is TP-LINK TL-WDR3600 N600 Wireless Ideal Dual Band Gigabit Router 300Mbps at 2.4GHz and 300Mbps at 5GHz for $56.62 http://www.walmart.com/ip/21607356 the other is TP-Link TL-WDR4300 Dual Band Wireless Gigabit Router 2.4GHz band at 300Mbps and 450Mbps at 5GHz for $69.64 http://www.walmart.com/ip/TP-Link-TL-WDR...r/21550035 With my speeds, do I really need the more expensive one or do I need something more beefy to handle it? I do really like the ftp server option with these routers. Does anyone have any better options for a similar price range? Yes I do have a dual band card with my laptop. Ok, so let me rephrase my question.... For less than $80, what type of wifi router should I get for good video streaming/downloading, a little gaming, and basic internet surfing? I don't think I need anything crazy expensive, just something a step up from what Time Warner left me with... Ads |
