Conversations with a girl on Facebook?

Assuming you're of reasonably sound mind and she's not already seeing someone else, then the reality is she's not going to turn you away if you ask to spend some time with her sharing a coffee at lunch or whatever. I can still remember being a teen how neurotic I got asking someone out and as you learn in later life there wasn't any need to be. Most people are quite happy to get to know someone new who seems keen and interesting. So long as you're at least one of those I'm sure she'll give you a try at grabbing her attention. Don't expect her to suddenly fall for you. Oh and you really don't want to be placing her on too high a pedestal in your mind because if you do, you'll likely blurt out something nervous and stupid when you meet her and ruin everything. (unless she's the kind who finds nervousness to be cute - it does happen)

If you've been stalking (your phrase, not mine!) her facebook then you must have a vague idea what things interest her. You really ought to be looking to see which of those you share something in common on, or at very least something that you could eventually share in common if you think you could also get into it. Be it a drama club, rock gig, heroin addiction... whatever floats your boat. Most people meet partners through shared interests.
