how do you know whether a website is weak in google with there seo?

If a website doesn't appear in top results it must be weak, lot of factors are considered for search engine result pages.

First and foremost is keywords, if you select wrong keywords almost everything is gone wrong.

Google and Bing are the two top search engines now and bing is providing search results to yahoo also.

Both Bing and Google offers, webmaster tools which helps webmasters with many awesome features, tips,etc

Sign up there and measure your efforts and look for improving your site..
