Which is faster? google chrome or firefox? why? 10pts?

Google Chrome is faster right now, but Firefox 3.1 in beta is supposed to be as fast, if not faster.
The strong point for Firefox is the add-ons. If you don't use add-ons then Chrome is ok, although you need to be careful, it's just recently released as beta, there are probably lots of vulnerabilities that may leave your computer at risk, until they go through a few rounds of patches, I wouldn't use it for my every-day browsing.
