Dude, what is stopping you from talkin to her? Just talk to her a bit, get the convo going.
If your stuck with message starters a simple hey Smile is usually not too bad and then asking how her day was, what she was working on in comp lab etc. there is absolutely nothing stopping you from talking to her, so give it a shot Smile
