For one yes you should. I am considered somewhat popular at school and one thing I hate is when guys who aren't extremely good-looking or popular think that they can't talk to girls that they think are out of there league. You seem like a sweet guy and if you have a nice personality and are easy to talk to theres no reason why she wouldn't want to talk to you. Honestly, just go for it! You have nothing to lose by doing it. Straight up just say hey Smile but make sure to keep your distance a bit if she does have a boyfriend because you don't want to cause problems with them . good luck hun
