The only way you're going to get internet connection everywhere is to invest in a broadband card and service from, say, Cingular, Verizon, or Sprint. The card can cost between $50-$100, with a monthly service fee, $40-$50 for the basic hook-up.
I had a bad experience with Sprint, so don't say I recommended them to you. By the way, any laptop you buy today should have a built-in wireless card, but the one's I'm talking about above are external. Some of the newer models are coming out with built-in broadband service features as well, so that all you will need is a carrier service contract. |
