internet crash problem?

I just recently purchased this acer laptop, it has windows 8.1... and I have updated everything on it... but for some reason my internt explorer crashes every once and a while... why is that is there a fix for this problem... like when I go back a page from browsing the page goes blank and the laoding bar comes up and says internet explorer has stopped working or its not responsive... its very annoying any help or tips would be appreciated.... tnx.....
acer is the problem???? this is an acer aspire, isn't that their best pc's??? it has to be internet explorer.... idk.... this laptop costed $975.00.... its 1 week old...
