help needed with internet connection to laptop via home computor, pleeeaasse!?

Ok, why would you buy a router when you already have one connected to your PC, do you mean a wireless access point? If you have a router it will not work PERIOD. I am making the assuption that your PC is hardwired to the net. So you dont need a router, you need a wireless access point then you plug it in to your pc and install the driver, then you right click on your ntl connection and go properties and choose internet connection sharing. Make sure that the wireless card has DHCP enabled. The access point should come with a wizard so you shouldnt have any problems their although you are female..... so anything is possible.
