The first and most obvious is to be sure that you have the ethernet cable connected from the modem to router is in the correct port (i.e. to the WAN/Internet port).
Second, disconnect the ethernet cords from the modem, router, and PC. Unplug the modem and wait 1 minute, then plug it in. Unplug the router, connect the cable, plug the router back in and wait 1 minute. Plug the ethernet cord from router to PC. Wait a minute then check the connectivity. If that fails, then try using the Clone Mac address feature in the router's configuration. If that fails, then contact your ISP. |
