Is my router compatible with my router?

The first and most obvious is to be sure that you have the ethernet cable connected from the modem to router is in the correct port (i.e. to the WAN/Internet port).

Second, disconnect the ethernet cords from the modem, router, and PC. Unplug the modem and wait 1 minute, then plug it in. Unplug the router, connect the cable, plug the router back in and wait 1 minute. Plug the ethernet cord from router to PC. Wait a minute then check the connectivity.

If that fails, then try using the Clone Mac address feature in the router's configuration.

If that fails, then contact your ISP.
