Am I losing feelings for my boyfriend *Please read, I really need help*?

I think you just like the 'idea' of him...when you are texting and emailing him, you dont picture the guy that is really on the other side of the texts and emails...you have your own idea.
i was dating this guy for 11 months, and i never met him...it was strictly an online thing, we talked on the phone, he had a great voice, and we texted each other constantly and emailed all the time. we played random 2 player games together via online, he lived in minisota and i live in massachusetts; so the distnace was long...and neither of us had the money for a trip to visit one another.
i was in love with him...or i thought i was...whenever we video chatted, and when he sent me pictures, i had to pretend to like them, because i didnt find him attractive and there was never a spark when i saw him.
i soon realized i first fell in love with him because of his words...he was nice to me, and he cared about me...and he had so many plans and future ideas...and the thought of being alone really made me upset and uneasy (probably why the thought of dumping him makes you upset...)
anyways...if you arent sure about things...you should probably just take a break from the relationship for awhile; you dont want to date someone with no spark and no attraction for...if you wait to long, you could end up like i did.
the guy dumped me...i think he met someone else...but i wasnt prepared and i didnt know i would end up alone like this...and it ended up breaking my heart because now the perfect 'idea' of the guy i fell in love with....just feels like a complete lie...
dont let yourself get heartbroken...just talk to him about it...
