i have a linksys WRT320N that ive had for a few years and from a few days ago it keeps disconnecting?

How often do you turn off the router and cable modem? I do that at least once a week to keep it healthy.

If I had to take a wild guess.... I would say that you probably have the router on the default channel it was set too when you bought it. If so, then other people living nearby are probably using that same exact channel and that is causing interference for you. Just go to your settings and change the channel. You could also try installing a few WiFi channel locator that tells gives you a listing of all the channels detected that are in use in your area.... then they way you can select a channel that isn't being used or is least used by everyone else and select that one.
