Mozilla firefox is the best light browser for all purpose. It takes minimum place and in the back ground uses chrome search engine. The slow and lethargic speed related to the number of start up items at the time booting and continuing in the background place. Try to minimise the startup, by going to the system properties.Type msconfig in the Run command box and in the emerging box, check that only needed items are started. Ofcourse, you could allow antivirus. Other updates and other programs, you could click to open, and not to have them in start up folder.
There is a bootvis utility, which you can run to have the boot sequence in order there by giving speed in browsing. You can download the same in this secured site. http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/bootvis.html and the instructions are http://www.techrepublic.com/article/step...rformance/ |
