first all if you have a dynamic IP you will have your ip changed most of the time. Some times you will have the same IP address. For 192.168.0.1 is actually the gateway modem address to link inside your DSL modem. under the configuration you will actually see your the DSL IP address which is different from 192.168.0.1.
There is possibilities that your modem could have taken the dump as it is always dropping connection. Try having your ISP replace that modem.
