why would my cousin block me on facebook?

my cousin is my age, 24. we have known each other our whole lives and grew up together.

we are two very different people though. i was always very level-headed and driven and successful.
she was adopted by my aunt and uncle at a young age. she has some attachment issues, and i don't blame her. she has problems with boyfriends, a hard time staying in school and focused, she has no idea what she wants to do for a career, etc. I feel bad for her.

Recently she got involved with a bad crowd. she has a shady boyfriend who we think is a drug dealer. she cut off all ties with our family. she blocked me on facebook for a month and a half, then recently unblocked me, but still hasn't friended me back. A few months ago i tried to reach out to her because she was posting these troubling quotes on facebook and instagram. i was worried. she never took my help. then that's when she blocked me and hasn't talked to be in a few months.

what is the deal? my parents think she blocked me so she doesn't have to see what's going on in my life on her facebook newsfeed. it hurts me to think that she is envious and hates who i am.

should i just wait for her to come around?
