It is a French Bull Dog. Frenchies come in a variety of colors. The dead give away that it is not a Boston Terrier is the Fawn color. Boston's only come in black and white or bridle and white.

Be aware though, should you decide to get one. The Frenchie is a brachycephallic breed, meaning short nose, and they have breathing problems because of it. They do not do well in excessively hot climates, and are nit a dog to take on overly long walks/runs. They overheat quickly due to having short nasal passages, and the air they take in has no time to cool before getting into the lungs and oxygenation their body.

They are also prone to luxating patrols, like most small breeds, a condition where the knee cap slips in and out of place to the left or right. They are also prone to IVDD, or intervertebral disc disease. Going to a reputable breeder who has had their stud, birch, an puppies screened and cleared for these problems in the way to go. Unfortunately, the brachycephallic conditions, reproductive problems when it comes to whelping, and proptosis, the globe of the eye coming out of the socket, are the norm, not the exception. The proptosis can be avoided by not playing roughly, or letting your dog get hit in the back of the head by something or someone. Because they are a bug-eyed breed, any accident of that kind can force the globe of the eye out.

It is a cute puppy, and the breed is loyal, loving, and good for apartments. But do your research on the breed you want, get one that fits your lifestyle, and research the local breeders.
