There should be multiple rj-45 jacks in the current wireless router you are using. Just run a cable directly to that. As long as it isn't over 1000 feet you should be find. As far as getting another router that won't help. Everyone is using the same service, think of it like water pressure, the more taps that are on the slower your stream will be. The only thing you can really do to speed it up is call up your ISP and ask them about getting faster service.

Also you might want to open your NAT settings apparently that helps. You should be able to find instructions for how to do that on Google pretty easily.
