How do I stop lag on my HP Windows 8 Laptop?

If you pause videos they will stream more info into your machine, then when you start playing you will have better results as you have the extra buffer of that info in the machine while it is downloading the rest of the video. If you look at the time bar at the bottom you will see the play line and then a gray line just a little longer that is the difference at what you are looking at and what is coming down. I hope I haven't been confusing. By the way, cluggies that say they can make your internet faster are like fuel additives for cars, usually they don't work and just screw up stuff already working.
