Internet problems, what should I do?

My recommendation would be to set up wireless bridge and upgrade your antennas if you can. The longer the distance the lower your reception and speed is going to be. A better antenna will increase your range and a wireless bridge/repeater will bring the source of the connection closer to you so the signal does not have to travel as far.

Also the cost of the wireless router does not directly relate to how good of a signal it will get. Some of the $50 routers can blow some of the $200 routers out of the water in terms of performance. I tend to stay way from a lot of the big brand routers for that reason.
