On Craigslist, doesn't "NWT" basically mean it's stolen?

My problem wouldn't be that the underwear were stolen rather then if they've been used. You can't buy things from the owner and know for a 100% fact it's not stolen. That's the chance you take with buying from people. You either have to suck it up and take the chance or don't buy anything from an owner and not a retail store. There could be a lot of possibilities though. They could be a gift from someone, the wrong size, or just not their style. In which case they don't have the receipt, this is very possible. Seriously though, just buy it if you really want to and understand that there are so many possibilities that you shouldn't worry. You can't prove anything so you might as well go in assuming they're not hot. Anyways you are just a unsuspecting buyer on craigslist. You could not get in trouble for this. Plus don't feel bad if they're stolen, how much profit do you think clothing companies make? The answer is a lot. The margins for designer clothes are crazy high.
