To start with SEO is relatively simple. But to answer your question, scrollable text is not recommended from SEO point of view - it might just provide a better user experience. I would recommended that you keep major keywords in the title tag & meta description. Also, keep keyword rich content on your page, which should also be easily viewed.
Create relevant content with keywords and ensure that the sentence / paragraph makes sense and isn't spammed with keywords. The idea is: write your content as you would for a user.
