anyone experiencing problems with the google chrome?

i had to uninstall google chrome because it doesnt load certain websites properly (like yahoo). It wouldnt show certain stuff, or it wouldnt load properly certain stuff (like my yahoo mail), and it didnt really work well with facebook either. Wondering if anyone's on the same boat or if there's anything i can do to fix it? I had to resort to firefox, and firefox doesnt run that fast on my laptop (compared to how google chrome runs).
yeah, that's what i'm assuming, what i dont get is why lol, i've been using it on the same laptop for over 2 in a half years and this never happened until a few days ago (didnt download anything).
i've reinstalled it multiple times lol
