Internet Connection speed is only 10.0 Mbps?

The icon internet connection is your router detected by the upnp (universal plug and play) service in your computer. if you double click on the icon you can do some port forwarding there plus some other stuff. the icon should not bother you at all, it just states that the computer knows there is a router between your internet and computer. in any case that's not your outside speed (net). to get rid of this icon you have to disable two services: "Universal Plug and Play Device Host" and "SSDP Discovery Service". that's all to it folks!
and yes, the existence of these service could slow down browsing alot since they are constantly checking what devices are plug n play on the network...
