It seems like to me that you want to do something. Since you are young, I feel like this is a good way to gain some learning experience! You have a guy that is interested in your behavior. He notices you! In my opinion, you have nothing to lose by talking to him. If you don't talk to him now, the progress you've made will go nowhere.

You don't have to be super awkward when you talk to him either. You can just ask him how (something you have in common is). You know? I learned over the course of my years that it is better to do something than to sit around thinking about doing something but not.
