Yes she can do that. I don't know you personally but after reading what you wrote on here that may be the best place for you. It will keep you away from your brother and it should keep you from feeling so bad about it all because you will be in a different environment and around different people. I hope that things work out for you.
Always keep your head up and never let anyone get you feeling that the only option you have is suicide. There is always going to be somewhere that you belong and you just need to find a way to be happy on your own until you find that place.
