How to hide "followers & following" on Twitter!?

Nope, you're thinking too much like Myspace. At this point, Twitter isn't very customizable; only thing you can change is your name, location, bio, picture, and the way your profile looks (your background, colors etc.).

Personally, I think if they added codes, it would make everything a little confusing. You DID just start out so I wouldn't worry about the followers; there's a lot of people in your boat. Just keep tweeting and you'll be sure to develop more! :]
