Why are people turning to the internet for love ?

I wouldn't say that it's immature, but I don't think it's wise. I'll explain later. Anyhow, I think it's because it's easier and more comfortable than traditional dating. People feel more at ease at home on their computer than they do in public. Aside from that, it's difficult to find local people who are single. It takes a lot of time and effort. You can just go online, connect within minutes, and find exactly what kind of mate you're looking for. But on the downside, everyone is doing it, including sexual deviants and perverts. People who lie about what they're really like (and about what they look like), and people who aren't mentally stable. That's why they are on the internet in the first place.
