I'm not sure if this is you or for a friend but,

That girl should be careful of being the "Rebound" girl. Many young guys/girls who just fell out of a relationship "NEED" to be in another one. This is especially true since you said that he was a player before. Telling me that the guy can not live without the attention from someone else.

If his friends think he is using her.... They might be telling a truth that neither the guy or the girl want to admit.
