On FaceBook, how do you become fans of stuff and join groups?

Uhm well what you do is go to the right side at the top of the page and theres a search place and if your intrested in anything all u do is type what it is and search go to the left side and theres a groups button so all it shows are groups and if theres a group u wanna join then click on it anddd ur in.
