What's the best way to make friends with this girl?

So, I met a girl at a music festival at my university. We talked for a very short while (though we were both a bit shitfaced) and then I added her as a friend on Facebook. We haven't talked since. Now, I'm not particularly interested in getting a girlfriend now; sure, it would be nice, but I'm just trying to make friends with people who go to my university. I don't know enough about her to start talking about something specific. Would "hi, i was wondering if you wanted to catch up sometime after the break? " be enough, or does it sound desperate or spontaneous? How would you guys go about this? I don't need any answers like "just let the relationship form naturally", social engineering always helps. Thanks.
