Oh dear child. I am sorry that you have found out such a horrible secret and the awful place it puts you in. You must consider a couple things....do you think your mom knows and is choosing to ignore it? If so then it is her decision as an adult. Many women choose to stay in unhealthy relationships. Though not logical, they do. Now if you believe she does not know ....then maybe you should. I think it is very brave and good of you. Yet be ready for your Dad to be angry and your mom to break down. You seem like a smart kid so I am sure you will be there to help her through....just know it won't be easy. Doing the right thing is always hard. Maybe a friend of hers can help you. Take care and be strong brave child.
