Why is it so hard to get twitter followets?!?

Actually the very first thing to do to have a lot of twitter followers is to have a credible twitter profile first then tweet interesting and relevant tweets and then follow people as many as you can because they follow you in return or use twiends.com its easy to have a followers on twitter there.
