I would seriously suggest you talk to your mom. As in really sitting down and having a long talk. Maybe its something you did in the past (lying) that caused this sort of suspicion, but lack of communication is what causes this to happen. I'm a teenager and I know I definitely don't "talk" to my mom, but there's never been any reason to suspect me. Explain to your mom what the problem is, and try to get her to understand. If that doesn't work, try talking to your counselor, maybe he or she can get through to your mom. Trust is hard to win back after youve lost it. Make her understand that you need to call somebody to get the homework. If she doesnt agree, talk to your teacher and ask him/her to please give you another copy of the hw and more time. For most teachers i find that they are actually quite understanding if you arrive early to talk to them about the problem.
